Fruit Basket
The "Pineapple/Apple" theory continues to sweep the nation. "Soon the WORLD will be mine!" (evil laughter echos in my brain) Comments continue to roll in. Here's a little something I recieved this week, that I thought was worthy of sharing. Thanks Lauren!
Women are like apples. The best ones are at the top of the tree.
Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just take the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy......
The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
Now, Men....Men are like a fine wine. They begin as GRAPES, and it's up to women to stomp the crap out to them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.
I found this most amusing, because of one of my best guy friends had already told me that he thought of himself as a grape. I guess he just needs someone to stomp the crap out of him. LOL Any volunteers girls? Ah...probably not. Most of you are busy stomping already.
By the way, I am in NO WAY one of those "we are the superior sex" kind of women. In fact, I believe that if you're not happy with your man "AS IS" then chances are you never will be. You should marry someone that you would be completly happy with, if they NEVER changed a thing. If over time they do better THEMSELVES in some way, then LUCKY YOU! If they don't, then you can still be happy. Okay, I know this sounds a little idealistic. I didn't say that you have to find a flawless man. That's no more possible than you yourself becoming perfect. I'm saying you have to find someone whom you can accept completely. Ya know, I could never stand to sit and listen to one of my friends ramble on about how she was gonna "teach" her man this, and she was gonna "teach" him that. I often sat there wondering to myself..."I wonder if he'll "teach" her to shut up and leave him alone?
Ya know if us "good"apples at the top of the tree have to wait around very much longer, soon we're gonna be just as rotten as the ones on the ground. Hint...hint..GUYS!
