Sorry...
It turns out that I wasn't as fond of the quizes I took as I thought. I chose not to share them with you. You must forgive me. I saw too much opportunity for jokes at my expense, by some friends that never fail me in that area. LOL Perhaps another day, when my confidence is not so fragile.
We never found the funky smell, but thank goodness just as quickly as it came, it went. It was the wierdest thing.
Moving on...I have had quite a few comments both on and off the web about my recent post entitled FRIENDS. I expected some dispute about who received which roles, but I did not expect the offenses that have taken place. It seems that how you view yourself is not necessarily how others view you. This is no revelation, but some of my friends have accused me of not knowing them at all after reading my comments. Some took it rather personally. I meant it all in good fun, and in fact don't think that any one of MY friends is completely like one of the FRIENDS in tv land. I just cited a few similarites. No one reached the point of being angry, and after hearing my reasoning they seemed to calm down. However, this got me to thinking about something sort of deep.
Who am I? Now I know that's the typical question of every teenager in the world. When you're growing up even those who swear that they'll never say it catch themselves uttering these words. "I'm just trying to FIND myself." It's often used as an excuse to do stupid things, including sometimes breaking the law. This time I'm not asking this question the same way that I asked it when I was 14. I found myself asking whether or not the person that I belive I am is who everyone else sees. I won't go into the deepth of pondering that I have done in the last 24 hours, but I thought it was a good point to ponder for all of us. What is the truth? Are you really who YOU think you are, OR are you really who THEY think you are? Is this making any sense? If not..I've been running a fever all day, and I'm slightly medicated, so it's very possible that I'm talking out of my head. LOL I know that was a little serious, and I'm kinda done pondering now, so let's move on to something silly.
ICE CREAM! If you haven't tried Blue Bell yet, run..not walk, to your nearest grocery store, Walmart or convenience store and GET SOME! It's sweet nectar. A little bit of heaven right here on earth. It comes from Texas, and being originally from there myself, I can proudly say that it really is as their slogan says.."The best ice cream in the country!" I have actually visited the original creamery and been on the tour and everything. It truly is an obsession. Check out the monthly rotating flavors at www.bluebell.com I'm a kind of self appointed ambassador of Blue Bell. Ya know I should really get paid for this sort of advertisement. Better yet, just give me a lifetime supply of ICE CREAM! Come on, who wouldn't want that?
