Fruit Salad Anyone?

Well, it seems my last blog is sweeping the nation. Okay, well maybe not the nation, but I did pick up two new blog readers. Go Me! LOL I'm sure that this is a direct result of Amy, my biggest blog fan. Thanks for the support Ames!

I have decided to do a follow up on the pinapple/apple theory. It has been the topic of many discussions as of late. Personally I think I'm getting myself into more trouble, but being the good friend that I am, I will give my public what they desire. More random musings about something I really don't know anything about, but for some reason am able to SOUND like I do. Hey, if it helps inspire conversations between the sexes and yes, even between pineapples and apples...then it's all worth while.

Everyone, well....every SINGLE person I talk to seems to understand this whole theory without much elaboration. However, they all want to put in their own two cents. It's gone from being a pineapple/apple thing, to a strawberry/pineapple/apple/sour grape/kumquat/bananna thing. Yes, it's a virtual fruit salad. Apparently some people are having trouble seeing themselves or their objects of desire as pineapples or apples. I have one friend who considers HIMSELF an apple, whom insisted that he knew a STRAWBERRY and fully expected to get one for himself. I have to say that if he actually believed in love, I think it's within the realm of possibilities for him. Here's why.

Pineapple Theory part II:

The first part was souly based on physical apperance. I firmly believe that your apperance is largely responsible for whatever league you find yourself in. That's basicaly what we're talking about here people, in case that wasn't clear. Part two however talks a little bit about personality. I DO believe that an apple or even a sour grape can be transformed in someone's eyes from a regular old apple to an exotic pineapple or perhaps even a lusious strawberry! This however does NOT change your fruit status with everyone else. But, you have to admit when you see those pineapple/apple couples walking down the mall, you're first thought is "What does that pineapple see in that APPLE?" But,you're second thought is.."That apple must be something good on the inside. They must have something to offer that pineapple that's worth having." Therefore, my friend COULD catch a strawberry, because of his exceptional personality, and for that acomplishment be viewed by other fruits as at least a really juicy, flavorful, ripe.... APPLE! Perhaps in the rare specialty,(these come all the way from Fuji!) section, yet still an apple. LOL I can hear the annoyed sigh of my apple friend now as he reads this. At this point I would like to point out one thing to him. He asigned himself the status of "apple." This theory is about how other's see you, not how you see yourself. So..maybe you should ask someone you trust, what you really are.

I love how this theory has grown into a fruit salad...encompassing every corner of the produce section of the grocery store...wouldn't be surprised if someone starts in on vegetables next. ;-)
